Gomez attends Three Kings Day celebration at Union Station

SPRINGFIELD– Senator Adam Gomez (D-Springfield) joined State Representative Orlando Ramos, School Committee Member Joesiah Gonzalez and community members for The Hispanic-American Library’s annual Three Kings Day celebration at Union Station.

Three Kings Day or Día de los Reyes Magos, commemorates the visit that the Three Wise Man paid to Jesus after his birth. The holiday is of particular significance in Puerto Rico, Latin America and many other countries across the world. Tonight’s celebration at Union Station marks the 4th year of The Hispanic-American Library inviting members of the community to enjoy live music and gifts for children.

“Tonight’s celebration is a befitting culmination of the Christmas season where the community comes together to celebrate the Three Kings’ visit of Baby Jesus,” said Senator Adam Gomez. “In the spirit of the gift bearing Kings, this annual celebration is another opportunity to be grateful for our friends, families and loved ones, while also giving back to our community. I commend The Hispanic-American Library and the dedicated volunteers who made this magical night possible.”
